F1 in Austin, Texas
The workers for the track were cheerful and helpful, and we found good healthy food. The racing was good, and we met some really cool people from all over. Had a great time at the Circuit of the Americas for the F1 weekend racing. Even though there were 117,429 people there, the crowds kept moving. Lines were only at the merchandise, food, and drink lines. Fri and Sat were not crowded as Sun, which seemed to have twice as many people. We sprang for a $30 parking spot at the Airport through COTA and ticket masters. Fri and Sat lines from the track moved very well, shorter than downtown and Expo center lines. Sun was a disaster with longer lines back to the airport than to downtown. People were parking in the airport lots and catching off-site parking shuttles, causing delays for those who paid for parking. We took a taxi back due to the issue. It seems the airport created the problem, with no checks on shuttle riders. Hopefully, they'll fix it if they do it again next year. It was the only glitch. Congrats to everyone on a job well done. Note..They need bigger tv screens.
